Reiki, a term derived from the Japanese words "rei" (universal) and "ki" (life energy), translates to "mysterious atmosphere, miraculous sign." This practice, developed by Mikao Usui in 1922 as Usui Reiki Ryoho, taps into a tradition that spans approximately 2,500 years. Holy Fire III Reiki® operates on the principles of purification, healing, empowerment, and guidance, offering a unique blend of ancient wisdom and modern energy healing techniques.

As a form of energy healing, energy can become stagnant in the body due to physical injuries or emotional pain, eventually leading to the development of illness. Comparable to acupuncture or acupressure, energy medicine, including Reiki, seeks to enhance energy flow and eliminate blocks.
